Me and a really good friend ( a previous guest at Oikos Björvägen who is studying Organic farming in Alnarp SLU) have started a small project which was initiated by planting some strawberries and salad in my garden.
She is a German very down to earth person with many talents, as musik, knitting, languages (quick learner) sheeps farming and not afraid of fixing here own bike even though she say she dont like technology. And me the endless optimist discussing what has to be done to reverse the impacts of current situation we are in.
I guess it started when we began to harvest my apples and made some wonderful applepie, when we started to discuss how we lost connection to nature and how things are produced.
Me from a perhaps more technical perspective and she from the food and farming perspective.
We made a common statement which perhaps can act as a guide for this initiative.
Growing a place where reconnection takes place every level possible. In the areas of food, wonders, people and technology.

Somehow the idea to use my place as a ”oikos” for learning, to share knowledge and experiences around things we do in practice. I guess it would be fruitful to involve different ages and different gender to promote diversity for resilience and strength.
As a starting point i will invite people who has stayed here in Åkarp who knows me and have an opened mind. But the goal is to use Internet as a plattform and a way / tool of collaboration.
